Why encapsulate?

New construction homes feature closed crawl spaces for a number of benefits. These benefits are based on performance of the home throughout its ownership lifetime.

The encapsulation process includes sealing and insulating the foundation walls, sealing the floor with thick plastic, adding at least one air inducer to condition the space, adding a dehumidifier system, and installing a humidity monitoring device. Cleanup, trenching, adding a sump pump, and all other solutions might be used. The system comes with an optional warranty.
